Who is Thumby and what inspired this ErgoBug to start his own web site? Well first off he’s Blinky’s uncle! Whatdaya mean WHO’S BLINKY? (We’ll get to that!) The main thing is that Thumby LOVES well designed products that are easy to use. And this is the case because, well Thumby is ALL THUMBS when it comes to gadgets. He loves ‘em of course like any other red blooded American bug. But the gadgets that are designed poorly just make him fume when he’s tried to use them. You know the ones with tiny buttons or clumsy operation that make you want to throw the thing out the window? We don’t think you’ll find those on his site. ErgoBug features ergonomically designed tools and toys that work easily and work well in a surprising variety of categories. Watch for our site to grow and grow!
This all got started when Thumby noticed how well his nephew, Blinky was doing his site GlowBug.com. And Thumby, being a bit older and wiser in life and seeing a good oportunity to sponge off a relative, borrowed five hundred bugolays (the standard of currency in bugdom pronounced like ‘frijoles’) from his nephew with the idea of buying only ergo-friendly stuff and featuring it prominently on the web. And once Blinky made his uncle sign a non-compete clause and leave his antique Corvette parked in Blinky’s garage, the deal was done! (This IS big business you know). And like, Voila! ErgoBug is born!
